I really do miss Tempest #2(2Fort). I have almost completely stopped playing TF2 since it's death. :(

I don't. I don't really understand how people can stand 32 man 2fort and all the camping and senseless sewer bases that span in the stalemate the whole time. But, to each his own. I wouldn't play it and I generally come back when the map is changed when its 2fort on Tempest now.

I won't lie...I enjoy the dickens out of playing it. Not all the time, not endlessly, but it's fun. If I have ten minutes to play, maybe 20 at the most, I don't want to jump into a round of dustbowl where I'll only be playing one of the three rounds, or maybe only attack or defend or whatever. Same is true of almost any other map with the exception of possibly ctf_steamroll. True the game is a deathmatch style, not really an objective match (unless playing on Bendy's team) but it's still good time and a great way to wind down between more stressful events like life. And yes, I even enjoy playing sniper on it and just waiting for folks to walk off the battlements. I compare it to a really high quality flash game during those times.

I love 32 man 2 fort .. you dont have to think its actualy a great stress reliever when you know the map and its redundant gameplay. You can just kill kill kill not much thought intp it.
