Ever since the update, the Tomb hasn't being the same. I think the Hax guys are having problems of their on as well. I've been playing hl2ctf and having lots of fun. I'm getting my butt kicked but I'm learning. If the Tomb can't be brought back to it's former glory it's not going to be any fun. The Meat Grinder is fast paced like The "old Tomb"(even some of the regular hl2ctf guys think we cheat because it's so fast), looks better and is full of good challenges.
BTW, hats off to llenta for the great work he is doing. Thanks guy.

Heres some reasons why ctf > dm 1. You can shoot while carying the flag. 2. Sniper Rifle. It pwns. 3. Any noob can bunny hop. Very easy. 4. Wall jumping. You can jump off the fucking walls. Its awesome. 5. Nade flying. Grab the flag, drop a nade with a Ggun, crouch jump and fly across the map. 6. Powerups. Try chasing a cloaked sniper. Its fun. 7. New weapons are amazing. OICW and Alyxs Gun are super sexy. 8. You can shoot while carying the flag. 9. YOU CAN SHOOT WITH THE FUCKING FLAG. no more worrying about going through a door too fast and the damn ball getting left behind. None of that. No running defensless. 10. Domination. Its awesome. Turbo you told me you tried the game with no one there. Not good enough. Try the game with people in the server. Sneak around cloaked. youll like it. As of the next hl2ctf update: All dm maps will be playable as DOMINATION maps. It'll be the next generation of The Tomb.

Turbo. THe decision is to lower the tombs maxplayers to like 8 and rename it to "TOMB HAS MOVED TO HL2CTF (HL2CTF.COM)."
If they want to play, they can come play. We have enough members to make this work. I know it's going to be a tough initial change. But the facts are this: Maintaining the tomb and all it's bugs and crashes now has become a full time job. It can't even get through the mapcycle anymore without crashing. The game is fatally flawed and we are abandoning it. I'm tired of waiting on Valve to fix issues they'll never touch. While they fixed exploits (that the hl2ctf team had fixed eons ago) they added new bugs. It's par for the course for valve.
We're moving to a superior game. It will be Tomb v2.

Well I didn't know it was such a drag, it just sucks super bad. I've played on the tomb ever since I bought this game, and for awhile, wouldn't go on any other server besides the tomb. While I was playing ctf, it was like starting over almost. I don't know, i'm sorry if i'm being a pest, it just sucks that the tomb is going to shite. I'll learn to live with it, but it's gonna be kinda weird.
Also, if it's possible,
Don't change the xbows, that's the one thing it has that the tomb has, and the sniper rifle loads slow, and seems like it shoots slow.
8 Players isn't too much, but it'll do. Thanks for keeping a great server as long as it lasted, see you on the tomb v2.
Edit: Losing the crypt sucked, but I didn't play on there that much, but now the tomb, *sigh* double *sigh* lol jp jp!â„¢

I love the Tomb. It made me who I am on multiplayer deathmatch and it will always be my favorite server.
However, Whut is right. The Tomb is full of so many bugs and glitches that it only takes away the spark that it had before Valve screwed it up. I'd much rather see it burned honorable than dying with a disease. CTF has so many benefits and so many levels of new gameplay that it will be amazing. It's like a multiplayer christmas and we're still unwrapping the presents. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name

Yeah, there is a ton to be thankful for. I do hope that The Tomb can resume its purpose the way it was intended one day. At least of CTF there is a LOT less chance of people whoring orbs. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name
