its sad. i'm staying with my parents this summer and he plays more HL2DM then i do, A LOT MORE, and he is almost 60. hes not very good, but he enjoys it as much as i do.

That is certainly not sad! That gives me great hope. I am SO looking forward to my kids growing up and playing with me. I'm already planning a large dedicated room running off the house gigabit network that will have a station for each of the kids and the wife and a nice setup worthy of gaming on each one at a minimum (allowing the kids to customize their own stations, of course). Bring in all the interested neighborhood kids and whichever parents are interested... and man that's one hell of a lan party. And made more so by the fact that everyone's local and can enjoy it regularly. Boo yah!Of course, we'll have something like a Wii for the sports games. Good times coming, my friends, good times. -nb

my parents house is already set up for that. i think at the molment there are 9 computers hooked up. the most at any one time was like 15. (they have a big house with multiple computers in every room).

I missed this earlier, sorry WDF! I'm located near Irvine in Orange County. I don't know for how much longer, though. It looks like our long-term plans have us out in Colorado (family, friends, work, cost of living) sooner rather than later. No idea when that's happening. If I get out there and can't get a good ping to this server... man, I'm just gonna cry! BTW, it's not easy to adjust, but I already really like the new CTF server at the Tomb. It's not the same, but I do think I'll like it even more than our old trusted friend. It made me laugh... I've been busy this last week and haven't been able to come in in a while, and when I finally get the chance... "Hey! I'm gone for a little while and the whole thing goes to hell in a handbasket!"Thanks again, WDF, for all the work you do on this server and board. The effort continues to show. I honestly don't bother with any other servers unless yours are down for some reason or another. See you all in there! -nb
