...it was today. Coco is officially 7 years old in dog years now...and I just found out. *facepalm*

I got a birthday card in the mail from Petsmart today. I didn't know the actual date she was born since we had basically adopted her from family members up North. I knew she wasn't a newborn when we got her back in February, but I didn't have a clue she was born in October.

I raised her, trained her, I feed her prime cut meats regularly, and even let her sleep in my bed -- but to have Petsmart tell me information I should already know by heart, is just embarrassing.

On the bright side, she got $15 in Petsmart money.

She's spoiled. She'll get a bone and that'll be the end of it as far as a gift is concerned.

She effects my work bad sometimes, especially late at night. She'll crawl up into the covers, occasionally look back at me like I'm in the wrong for staying up late and work on my laptop, then eventually moan and growl until I stop.

I think some dog-apprpriate gifts woul be more along the lines of letting her roll around in something really stinky and then not cleaning her up for a couple of days. That is our dogs favorite thing to do in the world.
