The latest nvidia drivers do some serious crap for resolution. Im currently running on a 42" widescreen so in order to see everything properly I'm forced to use a custom resolution. The problem is with custom resolution is that when I play a game, and if that game doesn't list my current resolution the picture forcefully gets cut leaving with with a guessing game of whats at the bottom and right side of the screen. The previous I think 2 driver versions from before forced a stretch screen which didn't use a custom resolution so regardless of what ingame resolution I picked it was always scaled to the TV size. Any possible fix for this? Cause when I'm playing borderland and I want to use chat I'm having to guess what im typing since I can't see the bottom. And half the time I don't even know if the chat window is open or not. What the game looks like using standard resolution: What the game SHOULD look like ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

Try seeing if you can locate a config file and setting the resolution to exactly what you use natively. A lot of times that works, but make sure you backup your config or replace the resolution it had before if it doesn't work. This might be a 16:9 versus 16:10 widescreen issue. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

revert to 190.62. 191.07 are some of the most unstable drivers Nvidia have ever released. Random BSODs on boot, stuttering in games, in my case it completely borked my Wifi card among other things. And in some extremely rare cases it's actually caused hardware failures from what I can gather. So yeah, go onto the Nvidia archives and revert to 190. problem solved. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
