Sex - eh, I figured you're married so aren't getting any anyway.

Fuck that! I like sex too much to not be getting it!

Don't tell folks that you're doing a marathon. You'll get all kinds of people with no business telling you what to do, telling you that it's bad for your body to run a marathon. Bullshit. I now just say that I'm careful and ignore them.

Already learned that lesson. Was out drinking after work with some girlfriends and they started in on me about some crazy shit that would happen to me if I ran a marathon. I laughed and told them I disagreed but thanks for the concern. They are cool and dropped it but I see what you mean.

If that is true you may want to check the credentials of the person that married you. It is possible that y'all are not legally married.

Haha, I know the state of OK recognizes our marriage, so I think that makes it legal... :) I've always been confused as to why there is a joke that married people don't have sex. I mean I've heard all the reasoning and they are all valid points but dammit, I'm still going to be doing it!

Anyways, on the marathon front - I went to a specialty store in OKC (The Runner - they were great!) and left with shoes that feel great on my feet and are ready to go for some runs. Unfortunately, I've been sick this week and haven't been able to put them to work. I'm going no matter what tomorrow, so hopefully I feel better...

Before getting my shoes this last weekend, my running has been to increase my stamina before my longer runs start around January. I still need to get into a routine because it's easy right now to let life get in the way of being consistent. I guess that's always the challenge, though. I've just got to get into my new training routine like I've done with past workout routines. So yeah, the countdown to April 25th continues! Less than 23 weeks!
