So for Christmas and my birthday my boyfriend bought me a puppy!! He is soo freaking cute I thought I would share some pictures of him with you guys :) His name is Oliver. He is 1/4 Pomeranian and 3/4 toy poodle. He weighs 9 pounds and is 4 months old. He sleeps ALL the time and whenever he is awake its really hard to take a picture because he wont sit still! But I've come to realize having a puppy is alot of work... we are potty training him and he hasn't had an accident for 4 days now EXCEPT for when he randomly peed all over my BED :/ I was not a happy camper :( But hes just too cute I couldn't stay mad for long haha Let me know if you have any tricks for training him or any tips. Trips for small dogs: Don't let the cuteness get in the way of you showing them who's master. Our pom is 11 years old and to this day my sister and I regret not teaching her when to shut up and seriously enforcing the potty training. Small dogs are yappers and you'll need your sleep. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

As far as tips for dogs (and puppies) go, I have a crap ton, but not everyone always wants to hear them (not you necessarily, everyone as a general statement). If you have questions, you know where to find me! Belligerent Pimp wrote: The Man Society just suspended my man card for a week for getting rickrolled by Mrs. Mary Midwestern Housewife.

The only thing I can think of for advice considering Ive never really had a pet of my own. Is make sure your pup has all the proper shots it needs to protect him from nasty stuff. Other then that Happy Belated Birthday! ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

"Small dog syndrome" I believe it is called. It's basically when people get all lovey dovey with cute, small dogs and slide on behavior issues because they think it's "cute". They tend to develop dominant behavior and hard-to-correct habits. That dog IS cute though! {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

thanks guys! He doesnt bark very much... only when he wants to play or has to go pee really badly haha Im trying to teach him to ring a bell when he wants to go outside. thanks for the happy birthday! lol and Lead, my grandpa has to border collies and they are really cute. Only problem is that they shed really long hairs... that get everywhere, plus the slobber. Poodles are non shedding and hypoallergenic, which I need. Border collies they are really smart too! but they try to herd people haha Kelsey.Bertha.Chuck. Lead Salad wrote:I was going to say something mean about toy dogs but then I realized how jealous I am. I want a border collie though I grew up with a border collie. I vowed as of a few years ago, to raise another one when I get older. Border collies are without a doubt the smartest dogs, and one the best (non-human) companions anyone can have. They NEED space though along with exercise or it's torture for them. I would always recommend border collies - but if you get one, make sure you have room for it. Average-sized suburban backyards don't count either. RE: shedding - Border collies "blow" their undercoat in the winter. It's pretty manageable as long as you brush it out regularly. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

OH MY GAWD! It is so cute, I might explode. 1: Get its shots. 2: Spay it. 3: You need to be the boss. 4: Ask Mrs. C. If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. - Carl Sagan My Backpack
