Its a little messy, but its helpful. I mostly used it to confirm why I really liked the M60 overall compared to the other weapons in its class. There are some fairly interesting results. Please note that the sniper rifle damage is still measured in the 0-60m range. So...if you're a recon, estimate damage based on the lowest damage done, to be conservative.

Nice, I wonder how this data was pulled out. I mean, is it official or just based on some guy doing tests at different ranges? Anyway, the Gwdr's have a squad. If anyone wants to play this with us. Just search for "Giller" and add as a friend...jump in and have fun. Quote:

Sigh, as much as i like this game, sniping always annoys me. A 50 Cal + Mag Ammo = Separated Torso with a body shot. Find a way that sniping doesn't require headshots EA! Suffers from the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency — nay — the very existence of George W. Bush

A 50 Cal + Mag Ammo = Separated Torso with a body shot. Find a way that sniping doesn't require headshots EA! God thats the last thing this game needs.....Recon snipers who can kill with a body shot. There are plenty of great snipers in this game. I have to sprint from cover to cover constantly. Yeah stand still for more than 10 seconds in this game and fire off a few rounds. Every sniper in the game is going to be trained on your head. or a mortar strike will take down half the house you are standing in. On a side note...I laughed my ass off yesterday night as I looked up and saw a sniper on the roof of a third floor building, trying to fire on Cecil-san. I was about to call out his position and fire on him when the whole building started to come down from a lucky tank shot that took out the last of the supports. Fucker was swallowed up the middle of a steel and concrete mess! Suits him right.... Quote:

Oh, I snipe just fine via HS.....But.....Logic, my dear giller, says that you should be able to separate torso from legs with a bodyshot with my barrett. *Shrugs* "Realistic" shooter, my ass. You scrubs play BC2? I thought I was the only one. I'm rank 25, Game Name Darkillumina. Add me please! Sniping recons make me rage. They're useless for the most part. (Due to the # of Nubs playing it) When I was doing my recon unlocks I equipped the Neostead 2000 with magnum ammo and backed up my squad by being a mobile spawn point, throwing motion mines and mortaring/C4ing vehicles. Seriously I don't know why Recons don't like throwing motion mines. You get points when people get killed in the radius... /rage off The M60 is overpowered as is the M1911. When I play Medic I use the XM8 LMG instead as I prefer its reasonable recoil and faster reload (Plus it's easy to HS with). If you use the M60 enjoy it while you can, a dev post on twitter hinted that it and the M1911 are getting nerfed. For Assault the community is split between the AN94 and the M16 A2. Personally I hate them both because they don't have full auto. F2000 is useless. Again I prefer the XM8. It's nicely balanced. G3 is ok. The kick on it is huge in game but it's powerful. I think it fires too slow to be useful. The Neostead 2000 is filthy. Hit detection is shoddy but if you equip magnum ammo and hit somebody at relatively close range and it registers it will kill them in one hit. It fires slow though so you need to get the drop on enemies. Useful when coupled with a motion mine. And yes that list is accurate. It's been posted around various websites. I'm the leetest one here

Slap an 870 combat shotgun, magnum rounds and the medic class and you are a close range tank... just hit your target the first shot. BTW the second to last assault weapon, the m416 or whatever or the m16 are the best weapons. IMHO. BTW thank you for the post. I was looking for this and I love numbers especially when it involves video games :)

I have been using the AN-94 with red dot sight and improved grip. I have had amazing results. Both up close and at 100+ yards I can usually maintain a positive kill ratio. Quote:
