Awaiting the new version of Bukkit to update the server.

Until Bukkit updates, I found a hacked version of the 1.3 server that will accept connections from 1.4 clients. So if you've updated your client you should be able to connect, but there won't be 1.4 features yet. That means no wolves. Hopefully the proper update will be coming shortly.

Also it looks like PlayerList and the MOTD query plugin might be temporary unavailable.

THAR BE WOLVES THAR!

I think.
I didn't actually see any, but I saw brown sheep so I'm guessing 1.4 is alive and kicking.

I also got updates for Minequery (what makes the online status available), WorldEdit, and WorldGuard. Whether introduced in 1.4 or the new WorldGuard version, Creeper explosions are prettier now--they don't seem to have that quick "fix" delay in the terrain.

The PlayerList plugin hasn't been updated yet so we're again back to not being able to query who's online. =/

FYI, I have found 2 monster spawners unimaginably close together. I hence forth call dibs on both. They are both on my island anyway.

Meh. I got my skeleton spawner. I don't need anything more.
