First I would like to say that I am Canadian and you Americans have your stereotype all wrong. At least for Vancouver, which is where I am from. Vancouver is actually like Seattle, but nicer. We still get the rain like them, but we have a moderate climate cause we are a coastal city... if you guys ever take geography you'll know.
We have mountains, ocean, forest, and we are also the third largest city in Canada. Toronto and Montreal are bigger, but we are far nicer.
Vancouver is also constantly on the top places to live in the world charts, usually being in the top 5 every year. We've hit number 1 a few times as well.
Personally, I think most of the rest of Canada is a bit backward, but I'm sure that's how a lot of big city's in the States think of the small towns too.
Fubs: I don't know if you are trying to say hoser or hoosier, but anyways I don't hear it much in Van and I have no clue what they mean.... hhahahahha

Seattle is way better than Vancouver, because I live in Seattle. Canada is cool though.
