Okay I am intrested in something here and would like to try an experement. Can anyone tell me WHY they liked/like TMNT. There is no wrong answer.  Formally known as MrT The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

I was in jr. high when someone showed me the orignal comic books. They looked like what I have pictured above: all of the turtles wore red and they all kicked ass (no fighting robots or clones). They would actually kick ppl ass and the comic was just bloody. Of course when it hit mainstream I still watched until mid-high school when the fad wore out. I've since not given them too much thought until I saw this preview.

i liked them because they kicked serious butt, and they liked to eat pizza. oh yeah, and i was a kid so that should help explain a lot since we like a lot of things when we are kids.

i liked them because i wasnt allowed to watch the tv show. my parents said it was too violent and that raphael was too vulgar. btw did anyone else think it was cool they're all named after famous artists? When I started watching the cartoons and original movies, I was like 5. I didnt really fit together the artist's and names thing at the time, but i always thought their names were sweet. I liked em mostly because they were turtles kicking everyone's ass with bo-staves and nun-chucks. And their master Splinter was a rat, how much cooler could you get?
