Then I am forced to disagree with you. If you were to look around the forums, you'd notice that people are very welcoming to new board members. If you'd like examples, I'll dig them up.

Good people are still applying. Any hostility to the nookie newcomers is purely based on the bad wrap that their clan has due to past problems. Blood doesn't wash off so easy.

Furthermore, I feel that we are one of the most accepting and well behaved video-game organizations around. Only rivaled by clans like 30+ who only accept, you guessed it, members ages 30 and above. I challenge you to find a more welcoming clan and gaming community that is as well manered as wdfnews.com. I think you'll find yourself hard-pressed.

With that said, I considered you, as Laughlin put it, an "honor" member. His definition is that of a member who... would never leave. One that would remain loyal and lobby for change if he had a poor taste in his mouth. There have been problems before, and it's been handled democratically. If something or someone is bothering you, it is your duty as a member of this clan to bring it forthright! We've vote-kicked people in the past and I'm sure we'll do it in the future. Even short of vote-kicking comes moderated discussion which is why I, and the moderators, are around. The Nyqul bar and Nookie forums are the ONLY exception to this standard. However, there are warnings clearly labeled not only in the forum descriptions, but also in the "READ ME FIRST" threads. A new comer who skips reading the important bullet points and sees flaming has only them self to blame for their construed opinion.

Then go. If you have such a poor view on this community, and can find happiness elsewhere, go get it.

Well Craps and I have already had a conversation about this.  I am loyal to this clan but as loyal as I am I can recognize flaws when I see them.  That being said, this place is going through a pretty big change and with that comes some troubles, and difficulties and I think that the whole Shit5billion thing was just the last thing that tipped us over. 

That being said Craps it's very sad to see you go.  You were pretty much the only one outside of Whut that I talked to on a regular basis outside of HL2.  I really enjoyed playing around and our drunken 1v1s when nobody was on the tomb.  I was hoping that you would just stick through this but when you've had enough, you've had enough.

I wish you luck with whatever it is you do.  And like a wise man once said "a clan tag means nothing to me.  the person does."

Craps you have gone off the deep end. Since when did anything on these boards become serious enough to quit over? I honestly don't believe this is about people being given "respect" and you standing up for the little guy. I believe its about you wanting be in the spotlight as you make your heroic stand against evil. Well guess what? Nobody is clapping. Everybody in these boards gets made fun of. Its called having a group of friends. The only exception is billion, who brought it on himself. I'm not going to honor your leaving with a full post of why I have lost all respect in you, not worth the effort. My question to you then is this, why are you still here? Get out already.

p.s. If the content of your posts don't make you look like more of an idiot, your typing will. Seriously, I know first year ESL (English as a Second Language) students who can type better than you. Stay in school, then repeat.
