As anyone that drives a 4wd vehicle off road or an ATV or a mountain climber or avid hikers can tell you that you always try to leave it cleaner then you found it. If you find trash that someone before you left and you can, then pack it out with you.
Are you saying that if you saw a camp fire smoldering that someone had just left, there was no one around and it was still sparking that you would just leave it there? Not even take the 2 minutes it takes to properly put it out?
