We do need a clarification on the gay-bashing is now allowed thing? All I remember is a couple of rainbow terms being made legal.

Unfortunatly the word Fa g is so common in the gaming scene it became a chore trying to fight it. We were banning left and right. As of now only racial slurs are words to look out for.

I can't recall seeing anyone saying the word fag on The Tomb - using the word gay as a derogatory term seems pretty common though. I'd really we rather keep the prohibition, if only in honor of Zoid who created the original Threewave CTF mod for Quake1 which is a direct ancestor of the HL2CTF mod. If it wasn't for that gay dude we probably would not have such a fun game. You can request that the language be kept down, but I'm taking a much less strict approach to gay slang than I am racial slang.

as a representative of the {pDs} clan, while playing on the home server of the clan {pDs} you have all the power you need to say "please keep the 'not to proper' language down to a minimum." You dont need to threaten, or say your an admin, or hit your an admin, or let them know an admin is there...

If they don't listen I can't directly do anything to them, that's what I was getting at. So far I've only seen one case where someone was being a racist prick and wouldn't stop but that was before I was in the clan. if you have someone that is disrupting the game, then let an admin know... if the person is just typing out harassing messages an admin can hop in, gag them and get back to whatever they were doing before (work/homework/sex/forum whoring) I am not an alcoholic...
