Nice and cool here, which means ten miles inland, it's like 90°. This is so because as the inland areas heat up, the hot air rises and pulls in the marine layer. At the turn of the century it was not unusual for folks who lived inland to have a shack closer to the beach area to get away from the heat.
But c'mon, 85° isn't so bad. You just gotta learn to be  about it.

I'm fucking dying! got its even hotter here in the sacramento area. i live about 20 minutes away, but its still freekin hot. i'm used to a cool stable temp from growing up in the bay area. i was there this weekend and when i returned to my apartment here it was 90, and i arrived at like 9pm. the people here say it cools off at night, what a load of $h1T. i'm glad i got a job back in the bay area this summer, because i don't think i would be able to stand a summer up here. (anything over 73-75 to me is hot) i like the cold.

It’s been unusually cool here in GA. We’ve been in the 40’s at night, which is nearly unheard of for us in May. Today it was only 73 degrees for May, we average about 80 to 85. I’m not complaining though. It’s supposed to be in the 40’s tonight.

it rarely goes above 20ºC here... maybe for a few days in the height of the summer but not often... consider yourselves lucky that ye get a bit of heat during the Summer... yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
