"The ever so popular game, Counter Strike:Source developed by Valve, has a new feature added to the game: A virtual marketplace for the weapons and equipment. According to Valve, every item's price will be updated on a weekly basis depending on the global market demand. Some users have posted their anger toward the new change on the Valve forums and have even started a petition to stop the change. Is Valve turning into Microsoft by introducing features that are not needed or wanted by the community, or are they merely spicing the game up?"

Yeah, I saw that. I don't mind it, it would be interesting to see the price change all the time. People need to stop bitching about change. It's a minor thing, it's not going to kill anyone.

does that mean i can whore the shottie more cause people dont like it? I am not an alcoholic... I am a drunk.... Alcoholics go to meetings. Times mentioned in the above post are stated in WHUT time... which is not the time normal humans are accustomed. Whut time is relative. Today is defined as whenever Whut happens to get a bug up his ass and thinks he is gotten sorta of close to being in the mood. The actual real life timeframe for these occurences is unknown at this time. Sometimes it happens more than once in a day and during other periods it would be more like for hell to freeze over than anything actuallly getting done. Currently we are in a time frame where it would seem that there would be more of a chance of Dragon getting a girlfriend as far fetched as that might be than there would be of anything actually happening here. -YourAimSucks -Reaper o'Blood -{pDs} Bloodhands

Personally I dont like the idea, some games should be kept the way they are, due to this "market place" the 2 guns that will no doubt be at insane prices will be the Mav and the AK, also I dont think a granade will be worth it if its over 1000, thats just forcing the game to unbalance itself. If you got a side thats loosing all the time guess whos gonna have a much less chance of winning? If the game forces prices up then the loosing team wount get enough money to buy the desired items.
This is a majour bad move on valves behalf upon the game. On top of that if they wish to add this "market place" they should allow the server hosts/admin to decide weither to allow this type of change to happen on their servers or not. Im sure theres groups that like the idea and groups that dont, so to allow a fair change to happen if any. People should be allowed to choose to have this new weapon price feature if they wish on their servers. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions
