I got my MSI Geforce 6600 today and I'm wondering about the settings. I have a 15" FPD, my screen resolution is currently set at 1280 x 960, refresh is 75 Hertz, Color Quality 32 Bit, yet the screen looks elongated and the text looks washed out and fuzzy (blurry). It’s quite annoying. I'm not sure what the deal is. I downloaded the latest drivers from NVIDIA. Any suggestions on Antialiasing Settings and Antialiasing Filtering?

As far as drivers I assumed I just download, Step 1 Graphic Driver, Step 2 Geforce and TNT2, Windows XP, or should I get something different? Any help would be appreciated.

It appears I had my Refresh set to high; I bumped it down to 72 Hertz and raised my Resolution to 1280 x 1024. Seems to be working great now. Any advice on Antiliasing would be appreciated. I'll check out the link you gave me Sirus.

Unless your monitor is a widescreen format, stick to standard resolutions like 1024x768 or even 1280x1024. Also, you may want to check and see what the native resolution for your monitor is and run it at that. Could be as silly as 1024*768x70hz, which is about standard for regular 15" FPDs. As for your card, there're a couple of tweaks you can do with a utility called Forceware Coolbits. First thing is you can set the maximum amount of frames to render ahead of time on your games. Setting this to 0 puts a little more pressure on your card to render stuff on the fly, but if you keep VSync on and the game quality settings reasonable, you can actually score playable, yet significantly more consistent framerates in most games. Second thing you can do? Overclock it. Be careful, do some research. ;)

Nobody likes random chugging when trying to line up the perfect snipe shot.

Thanks for the information. I'll try a few of these suggestions.
