The bloody screen mod is chasing people away. Can we turn it off?

I think it would be a cool feature if it didn't put so much blood that it obscures your view. I noticed when you damage another player ping stuff (blood) flies everywhere. Whut..
I have been using mattie_scripts 0 to turn the stuff off because the players hate it. Of course this kills the scripts all together. I found out earlier today that an es_unload command should also work and still allow the team balancer to run.
I am also hearing from people who have played with the mod that it starts lagging the shit out of things when it starts going full gore and I have seen enough to beleive that. I think we drop the whole idea as a well we tried and it didnt work kind of deal.
If you just wanna do a quick mattie_escripts 0 to temp fix it I can do the files when I get off work tonight to take it out completely. No one else has permissions to run the command. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Yea I agree. I have been busy with a project at work and havent been on Crypt in over a week, but from that screenie it seems like....overwhelming. I love blood and encourage more blood as long as its ....well balanced.

I disabled this script when I read this thread yesterday. It's been disabled since.
And I was kidding about the stfu nub... it came off as a bit harsh.
