Need New PSU Options

ok i need a new psu because the one i have, i have to turn off most of my fans and everyhting else or a get a message saying that my video card is not gettting eoungh power, i have a 6600 gt and a 480 watt psu. I have hooked up a 2nd psu just for the card itself its a 200 watt psu and seams to be doing the job, so ill need at least a 500 watt , on up to 550 watt, the one i got now is just a cheap one and im sure im not getting the full 480. So anyone got a brand they would say is good or one that would work for me?

480 watts should be enough. What kind of PSU do you have now and what is hooked up to it? If you are looking for a replacement I have had nothing but good experiences with the Antec Truepower series. Unlike a lot of cheap PSUs they actually meet or exceed their advertised specs. Have you dusted the PSU out? They can get clogged up and overheat and then have reduced performance.

Um i think that the name of the psu is demon, but im not sure. i have a 775 intel cpu oc from 3ghz to 3.6 and i have 2 250 gig harddrives and a 16 times dvd bunner,i have a side 80mm fan, and 2 80mm fans in the front, and i have blue tubelights in the front of it, and i have a 80mm fan that lights up blue, nad a usb light over my keyboard for playing at night, and i have a 6600 gt also.and a floppy drive also, plus the psu has a 120mm fan that lights up blue in it and a 80mm fan that lights up blue also, and i think that is it.
