So, my thread disappeared.  Anyone know a thing or two on how to make an animated gif?  I'm told that Photoshop and a program bundled with it are the best programs to use to make one.

Yeah, if you have Photoshop and ImageReady, then you're set.

Just make the frames in Photoshop (each layer= 1 frame), then import that file to ImageReady and use the animation toolbar to convert the layers into gif frames.
