Hi all,
I love playing on the crypt. Everytime I load HL2:DM I am always first looking for the crypt server to play. If you are familiar with my nickname, Loneofficier, then you'd know what I mean. Well I finally figured that the crypt is the only place I'm at, I see many {pDs} foes and allies that I play with and now I would like to become a member of the group. I hope I can be a part of pDs, because I know I won't let any of you down,. I have improved and still am improving on my battle skills that I know I can contribute to the team. My experience has grown and I know I am ready to join a great professional group of players -- pDs all the way!

No, it is not mispelled, Officier is:
officier [nm] (military_officer, officer) any person in the armed services who holds a position of authority or command
I'm 21 years old from Vancouver, Canada. Whenever I have free time I play HL2:DM and always the crypt server (unless there is no one playing)
I goto school work for a computer technology company.

hmmm now that i think of it i seem to recall someone giving out to me for making that mistake before... meh, whaddya expect, i'm Irish. we've no real military culture... Thanks all of you for the positive feedback and greetings, it's good to know someone recognizes me here...haha with my "good" gameplay and all
Makesureitscharcoalgrilled: I think the way my screen name is spelled is the Canadian version....because you are right about "officer" spelled that way; it is a word.
But no mistake in my name though Yea must be a Canadian thing lol. Understand the miscommunication.
I am not familiar with how I can call myself a member of pDs, if anyone can explain to me how the process goes, that would be great.

usually we wait for the aproval of mr big daddy before you oficially become a recruit. then after that you are a recruit and we hold a vote for you to become an official member in ~3 weeks time (give or take depending upon how much your around). see you around.

He is official(as a recruit) . Mr Big Daddy so to speak is out of touch til after the holiday so I am gonna step up and grab the inititive on this one. The name is fine. The vote will come when we feel you are ready. Or at 30 days which ever comes first.
One of the young gents here will give you a copy and paste post of stuff you are gonna have to know if they have not already.
