When i upgraded my motherboard, my hl2dm and ctf gaming quality seemed to have gone down the shitter. I get lots of glitches and jerkyness. it just won't give me a sustained fluid gaming experience like i used to have with everything i am running with now except the fact that i got a new motherboard and case. What on the motherboard could be causing this? i want to continue my hl2 pwnageness but if this shit don't work out soon, im just going to become a wow whore through and through. playing today showed me how noobish ive become because i can't stand playing like im on a laptop.

things to try and check: use a driver clean up tool to remove your vid card drivers and then reinstall. check device manager for anything with an X or a ! - fix whatever it is. check your BIOS settings - is your CPU at the right freq. & multiplier? is your RAM underclocked or anything (timings too high)? what kind of motherboard + vid card + ram + cpu = your system? i changed the ram multiplier from 2.5 to 3.0 and got a big boost in peformance. but for some reason, its 600 mhz. is this a common number for RAM? i tried running them at 667 and they wouldn't fly.
also, what is this PCI-E overvoltage option? what exactly will it do for me?
