i don't know what the shit is wrong. i dont know if my bios was reset and i need to reconfigure my multipliers or what by my gaming performance has dropped through the floor.
im getting a choke of 3-6 when engaging an enemy(ies) and sometimes a loss of 2-3. when im chillen in my own base, no choke, no loss. but even at this time when i run, everything is jerky jerk. like my gpu pauses on every 10th frame for 3 frames. it makes it damn near impossible to do anything technical like wall jumping and nade priming let alone getting an accurate shot. (xbow whore needs his accuracy...) It is really pissing me off and if i dont resolve this shit soon, im going to shit on my computer and throw it into the ocean.

that is weird it would suddenly drop down like that. I would double check your BIOS settings. If they are still fine then try reinstalling drivers (starting with video card). might be good to run some memory tests too. one other thing to check - are all your fans still spinning? when the fan on my 6600GT died I started getting the same problem due to the overheat sensor getting triggered (it auto-underclocked the GPU). i run norton all the time and have it running all the time and have no problems, but i dont have a crappy computer either.
Hey what video card are you running that you are loseing fps, and did you install the same video driver as before or a new one.
