seriously sucks.
The messed up thing of it all is that this storm really wasn't all that bad. I've been through waaay worse..actually usually every year we have at least 80 mph gusts at some point in time back home. so.. 68 mph gusts don't matter much to me... it does suck none the less.

I'm uploading more pictures to that directory as we speak, the tree sunk in further, we've been sitting in the cold trying to warm ourselves by bnurning shit and keeping the house at a nice 55-60 degrees while its freezing outside. We got 1/2 the tree out so far, oh, and no power still, sitting at a tullys right now... I read ALL your private messages.

You need a big tarp and some furring strips to tach it down at night. It will keep that weather out and help keep the warmth in! Seems like someone moved Florida up to the PNW!

700k without power yesterday... 200-500k without power today. My room is a lovely 34 degrees. We're drinking lots and lots of booze. Sirus and I are safe. The eastside got hit the worst with winds hitting 100mph. Houses in Mercer Island and Bellevue may be without power for 7-10 days. Amazingly no one attacked my ogame planet... We're all safe. We'll be back when we're back.

If you have camping gear, it's time to make use of it. You probably already have your sleeping bags out. If you have a tent, pitch it in the space which has the most walls between the space and the outside. If you have a bigger tent which will fit the smaller, pitch them both inside one another. That's what the indigenous people do in Siberia - saw that on the Discovery Channel y'all.
You should check up on Sirus at his house tonight to make sure he's okay. Just walk in through his kitchen; it's open for sure.
If you find he's hypothermic, you need to both strip down and climb into a sleeping bag together to warm him up. Then proceed to pour warm fluids into him.
