I had a short power outage over the night of the storm, and a tree branch fall and disconect a line from a pole (cable I think, not high voltage) next to my house. I survived. I did a long run on Saturday morning. No snow here, but we did have rain and lots of wind. Ran with a trash bag for a cheap light raincoat.
Stopped to pee and because of the gusting wind I managed to piss on my leg and shoe. Don't piss into the wind and try to piss ON something to keep it from being whipped up by a gust and tossed back at you.

We lost power last night. No storm. No wind. Apparently it was an overload of the fuses. Lame. BTW, i'm north of SF. get your ass to mars
