If you are attacked, the attacker can take your resourses, but not buildings, mines etc?
Also can they take res if you have it in a storage?
Espionage : can you have a counter espionage , to hide what you have?

the attacker can destroy defensive structures (usually 70% regenerate after attack, so 30% will be lost each successful attack), he can destroy any ships you might have in orbit and he can take up to a maximum of half your res per attack.

Yes. Storage is only for large amounts of res, where in ogame if you dont have storage and 100k+ res, your mines shut down and you start to lose a trickle amount of that res. {pDs} Aww wrote:

The only really counter-espionage aspect of ogame is that If your level of espionage is high enough, all the attacker will able to see is the resources, which is often enough to put people off atacking you. the formula on which this is based is explained further here. (a few entries down) yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

Heres two more questions for ya. First, which technologies are the most important to research early on? And also, do you guys suggest building light fightes?, they're the only ship I got in my shipyard avaiable lol. Heat Repeat!!!

map legend link in the lower right hand corner of the galaxy page. I found this right after I had charc explain it all to me..
some of them that i can remember s= stronger n=new/noob v=vacation i = inactive etc Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

At what point can I attack or someone else attack me?
I have heard of noob protectiion , but what is it exactly is it? I am planning to attack this guy , but he weaker than me I don't want to break any rules.

system will not allow you to attack anyone in green. It will only allow you to attack people in white or the grey inactives.
I strongly suggest to do your first few attacks against inactives. As for me I finally went after a real player last night and Big Brother Gazzic caught me and yanked me back so maybe tonight I will do it for reals this time... Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

yeah. Download Speedsim. its a combat simulator that's used to predict the results of battle. it is essential. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
