Just put your arm under it and see through ur skin!

Live at the WIRED NextFest at the Jacob Javitz center in New York City, an Infrared X-ray Machine displays your vessels and muscle directly on top of your skin by just moving your body under the beam.

infared is entirly different than x-ray.

That concraption only shows the high heat areas-your veins while the green fades into them.

Very cool none the less

May i refer you to Cannon's post. IR is not the same as X-Ray, IR does not give you cancer, X-Ray can.

Oops...now I notice Cannon's posting....my bad....well if there is no health concerns about an IR X-ray, then it's a pretty nifty mechanism....handy though....but we'll have to see what happens with it...never know, future circumstances....I guess at the moment anything remotely similar to the regular X-ray device that does not cause cancer, is off to a good start.

Let me rephrase that...

There is NO XRAY...that can cause cancer from xray's, but there is the IR cancer factor for skin cancer....  Just as the sun can give you skin cancer, high dosages of IR can give skin cancer, skin spots, etc.
