ok so i tryed to connect to the tomb just now and while it was DLin somethin for mania admin plugin it freezes i try alt tabbing and everything but it just stays at the same screen so i hit my restart button on the tower and the PC shuts off and wont turn back on i've had the shutting off problem before and it will turn back on after a few hours but i would like to prevent this kinda stuff from happening again, i'm on my bro's PC right now anyone have suggestions?

i think what you need to do is take the gutz of your computer out and swap them with your bothers. that way you will have a working computer to get on the Tomb

my bro has a very old Pentium 3 it is a POS my computer just hates HL2 for some reason

is it overclocked at all? in my experience HL2 is pretty sensitive to heat and OC'd systems are more prone to overheating... even if it isn't OC'd I would check out your temps and make sure you aren't getting too hot. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

My last comp did what yours is doing now and it was my motherbaord dieing. One day if you come in and you turn your comp on and it wont post, you will most likley need a new motherbaord. What are the specs on your computer? Have they changed at all recently? Have you tried reinstalling HL2? Have you checked if any fans have died or become clogged? Has it been hotter in your computer's room recently? Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
