Some asshole from Evil just attacked me with 83 BS!!!! I've moved my entire fleet just in time to my colony in 5:381 but that just blows.

Even with my massive defense I wouldn't be able to do anything vs 83 bs. That is just nuts.
We have to be on our toes.
-keep your res low
-fleet save your ships
-Don't piss off the wrong people

I had 1 Gauss Cannon, 53 HL's, 40 LL's and 40 RL's along with a small shield dome and a large shield dome. He wipeed everything out and only lost one of his ships.

Another thing that I have come to realize about Ogame is that alot of these so-called top players are a bunch of kids about the age of 16 or so who have nothing more to do in their lives rather than sit in front of the computers playing this game day in and day out. I have been told that it takes 3 hours to build a battleship so you can probably guess how much time has been committed to building 82 of them and the day in and day out commitment of time to gather the resources required for that.
This is just going to HUGE disadvantage for those of us of a more advanced age who have jobs and families costing us precious empire building time.The only real thing that have going in our favor is the alliance itself. The other top alliances are only about a third of the size of this one. We are going to have to figure out how to work together more and to use our advantage in numbers to our benefit.
We really need to use ACS more and also help lower players advance as much as we can.and get as many PDS players as possible to at least battleship level and beyond. More of us building battlehips and then using those as ACS will help offset all those little kids who are pretty much playing on their own and building fleets by temselves.
Anyway.. those are my thoughts Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy
