One out of three Texas students don't graduate, and more students drop out than finish high school in the state's largest cities, according to education experts.

LOL morons.  Wait, isnt our president from Texas???  I mean, I dont remember high school being THAT hard.  Sheesh.

I'm in college in Dallas (from SF), actually going to graduate this spring. Its not fair to say the state is full of tards because it isn't. There is a lot of crime, gangs, immigrants, and very impovrished people here. Not to mention all the people who came over from Louisiana post-Katrina. So I wouldn't say the state is stupid, just full of people in poor socioeconomic situations attending school who drop out due to outside influences. Indeed, every state has its share of tardage, but I wouldn't pick on just Texas...unless you're talking about things like caring for the environment, driving normal sized cars, building of efficient infrastructure, eating healthy, extreme support of NASCAR, etc.

Incase you've been under a rock or don't live in the US, we have a rather serious immigration problem with mexico down here, among other things. I just think it would be rather difficult to graduate here if you can't speak english. Also according to wikipedia George W. was born in New Haven, Conneticut

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? (heh bash.org)

I just remember chewing it for 5 minutes before giving up. I tried to fit the whole slab into my mouth and some of it started sliding down to where I started to gag on it. I ended up pulling the whole 7" piece by the very tail end from my esophagus before stuffing it under my seat cushion.
