Its actualy really interesting how they would multiply so fast and time would eventualy kill them all from starvation.

They put Strychnine in some feed and dropped it with planes over affected areas. They also took it to farms where they were concentrated. That's what killed them. You should be more like Cantrip. I know.... But were you looking at the numbers?
Think about the portion of the crops that those mice had eaten, the speed that they increase would multiply daily, as a result they would eventualy starve...

Ah. My eyesight is crapping out on me. Didn't see that part. Yes, you're right.
In the '70s there was a study with some 50 rats. They were given food and water for 50, but they started to multiply. Their numbers grew and they started fighting with each other. In the end they killed each other and turned to cannibalism even though there was food available. Mothers ate their young and others feasted on corpses. Within a few months, all the rats were dead.
