Hey everyone, I'm looking for a reasonably priced USB Bluetooth adapter for my Bluetooth headset because I'm cheap and don't feel like buying a headset just for my computer. Anyone got any ideas? I really don't want to spend more than 20 bucks. Hopefully someone here actually has one and can testify about it :)

i have a bluetooth adapter that came with my motorola phone tools that i bought years ago. i have had it plugged into my desktop for like 3-4 years now and it has never failed me. my laptop has it built in, but the adapters are only the size of a thumb drive and from my experience last a long time. i say just buy yourself any cheap adapter and it should work for you. mine is from motorola, but i don't think you can buy it without getting the software, and your not looking for that. i'm pretty sure that since its so old that its not a high quality one, but its just a wireless adapter for your usb drive. like i said, i'm sure cheap will do the trick because it seems to be working for me.

i have 2 copies, both legal. the first one i bought with the bluetooth adapter and the second came with my last phone. you get those kind of things when you buy phones overseas. in the US, you get as least as possible for the same amount of money.

Lol. I know my dad bought a Motorola MPX-220 in Taiwan, but he didn't get MPT with it. Oh well.

well it came with my motorola 1150. it also came with power adapters for the different parts of the world so that you can have the right plug and voltage wherever you go. of course the US gave the phone their own name even though no carrier even sells the phone, how pig headed is that. the US is getting their own version of this phone called the RAZR MAXX i believe and you guessed it, phone tools is not included. funny how they can take a phone that was sold everywhere in the world 2 years ago. put a new shell on it, then re-sell it with a different box and less goodies for a lot more money.
if you have AT&T your good to go. just get your phones from China or any other part of the world and put your chip into the phones. they will be way more advanced then the american phones for a few years and usually give you more stuff in the box.

Yeah, GSM all the way. Plus if you ever need to renew your plan for any odd reason, just buy a nice phone for cheap overseas while getting the massive rebates that at&t usually offers when you buy the cheapest phone with a plan.
