well talking to grumpy today made me realise that most of you guys may not realise the importance of mobiles... well.... a mobile is basically a colony slot that you keep free to use as a mobile base for attacks. as your farms begin to dry up your going to notice that your looking farther and farther out. With a mobile, you simple make a colony to the system of the fleet your looking at taking out, send your fleet there, launch your attack, and get out of there again, abandoning the colony when the targets you've hit are dried up... it's very very important to have at least one slot free for these kind of attacks later in the game. So if you guys have been planning on building up all 8 colonies, i serioulsy advise you to at least leave one slot free as a mobile, or have one that your ready to abandon whenever... yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

Killa...
With this idea in mind of a mobile base I have decided to abandon 4:153.. It was a small planet of 50 fields giving me no rrom errors and is at the far end of my range. I know you came to that system because i was there so I thought i would let you know i was leaving.
EDIT one thing I just learned... is you have to completely evacuate a planet first.. I redployed the ships and tried to delete but got an error that ships frm this planet were still underway. I will try again after those ships land elsewhere

O no its fine, I'm mainly using it as a farm n pit stop for when I travel between galax. 3-5
