ok this is what happened friday. Before I go to sleep I fleetsave either sending my fleet to Elohims or Bob Dole's planets. That day I sent my fleet to Elohims planet, morming comes I see I has a moon, read my messages I see ones that says recall, 300 ships headed towards his planet, it was too late by then. He was attacked like at 6 am( i wake up at around 11 am). I lost enough 20 LC, 10 C, 10 BS, and all my res that I had saved in my cargos. O yeah he was given a moon
part 2, happened this morning, Bob Dole, fleetsaves over my planet often. I wake up at 12 pm. check my ogame and I see a moon on the overview page, same guy attacked me, lost most my defence and my entire fleet. 30 LC, 30 C, 30 BS, and 22 bomber. This is where it gets fun, that night Bob Dole had over 200 ships over my planet, and Im sorry to say, lost all too, hahahaha. This sucks, but hey I got a moon too for what is worth.
This guy who attacked us did not get much, because I didnt have much. I guess he just wanted to destroy me. : -(
This guy is ranked 83, so not much I could have done anyway

Heh. I decided to take a look over there, I would have to say that is the first time I have seen two moons that close together. Congrats and if you need any res to build it up I can get it to you.

I am wondering if the moon formula takes into account the age of the Uni. It seems like there have been a lot of moons lately.

grumpy moon formations are indirectly related to the universes age. As the universe progresses the size of battles grows as well, resulting in larger DF fields which mean high probability of moons forming. But to answer your question, the moon chance formula has nothing to do with the universe age.
