Not it's not on fire. It's pulling so many "G's" that it compresses the air around it and forms clouds. I got the opportunity to see what this baby can do this last weekend. All I have to say is if you are on the wrong side of this thing, it's all over. The most impressive plane I have ever seen as it made a "U" turn with afterburners on .

Ah, the Point Magu air show . . . You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." GivePeaceAChance: "If the Tempest had nipples, I'd pinch that shit." Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. " WDF?: "He keeps reaming me... night after night... I'm rather sore." GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD" llenta: "cantrip, you fail!!!" Filliam H. Muffman: "i'm on top of dick"

personally i like the Sukhoi-37, its using inverted wings which makes it look more intimidating to an enemy. the meaner a machine looks the better psychologically it does against enemies. fyi this is a Russian fighter. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

Did I mention that the "U" turn was done in the width of the runway? As far as the Russian planes coming, the Raptor will get there first as it can travel at the speed of sound right after take-off in the U.S.(or wherever) all the way across the ocean to meet it's target. Oh, BTW, they probably will never see it coming as it's also a stealth aircraft.

well they better not experiment too long as the U.S. is probably working on their next plane. the raptor is already being used (if i'm not mistaken) and its probably still 5 years more advanced then the russian "experimental" plane.

Russian computer technology in planes is pretty crap usually. dunno specifically about this plane, but i was just at a lecture the other day on glass cockpit displays (don't ask), and Russian planes are still waay behind in this area (one shown had none, boeing have one, and Airbus have 3). oh and the F-22/rator isn't completely stealth, there are better stealth stuff out there. they might not be able to recognise it on radar now, but i'm pretty sure a trained soldier in the future will be able to make it out at some point. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
