Well, in response to Infinity's post, I would like to gauge the reaction of the Tomb populace as to whether FF should be map-dependent; that is, some maps have it on and some have it off. It is definitely true that maps such as 2fort and the football maps tend to have quite a bit of explosive spam, so if the answer is yes, we will make some decisions as to which maps will have FF on and off. If no, we will drop this matter for the moment. Perhaps open air maps with plenty of room would remain with FF on. CHOOSE WISELY, the consequences could be dire!

i like the idea of having it on only certain maps. For example the football map, you could accidentally kill a teammate right before getting that all so important cap or you kill a teammate and the opposite team is near your endzone and you get instakilled because of the FF then the other team gets the cap. That is so annoying.

It's ok to post here even though I'm not a member yet , right? I like ff on. It makes you more sympathetic and cautious w/ teammates. Thats why I play ctf so much. Teamwork. But it seems closed maps with lots of explosives like 2fort would be total carnage. Carnage directly proportional to the amount of noobs playing. So maybe ff on only for open maps like pedestal, and the aim maps like cradle.

sweet, he does play hl2ctf, my bad.
hl2ctf has a really small fan base compared to hl2dm. but, with that said, the players that are there are on average much better and much more mature then the average hl2dm player. usually servers only fill up (kinda) during the night hours. during the day time you will typically only find a handful of players.
