Everyone is the sum of their experiences. The years you spend at school, the friends you make, everything that happens to you is an equation all adding up to who you are. Without those experiences, you are not a very substantial person. Many people believe that when a baby is killed before its birth, it constitutes as Grade-A murder. Obviously, it's very hard for pro-abortion people to spin the phrase "kill babies" but hear me out, because I believe what I'm saying makes sense. I realize that to some people this would be enough reason to kill me, but I wish for you to point out a specific reason why what I'm saying is wrong.
That baby has had no experiences. It hasn't come into the world, it hasn't learned a life lesson from its father, it hasn't discovered its talent. Therefore, as cruel as it is to say it, a baby isn't too much of a person. Not very much is lost from its death. On the other hand, it could lose a lot more just by coming into the world. You've seen what happens to kids when they're not wanted. They are ignored, their lives spiral down the drain, and they can die after about 5 years, if not turning into their parents and having "meaningless" kids of their own.
Our world is crazy about sex. You see it in movies, books, games, TV, even places where kids might be able to see it. Sex is the cause of all life, and if sex is so common, it's not really even that precious. So is life even that precious? No - Life alone is not precious. But obviously, you wouldn't want John Stewart or Al Gore to die (and if they're not your heroes, pick your own), would you? Why is it that their lives are somehow "worth more?" Their lives are not. The sum of their experiences are. If you seperate a man's life from his experiences, he's nothing. He's a baby; the everyday, dime-a-dozen baby that is a product of the everyday, dime-a-dozen sex our nation is so obsessed with.
I urge women who are too young, or too financially unstable, to avoid having children. Children normally only lead successful lives if they have parents that can take care of them. You owe a successful life to them by their conception. If you don't think they will end up very well, feel no remorse in cutting out while you're ahead. Don't worry, because that life on its own isn't so precious; it's true that it could grow into something absolutely beautiful, but that all depends on you. As I vaguely recall the lines from a certain movie...

Father: Don't you walk away from me! You owe everything to me!
Son: I don't owe SHIT. Because you having me as a son means that you are obligated to raise me and make me into the man I am now.

I think it was a movie about a black person marrying a white woman, and the potential scandal to ensue. Took place in the 70s or so.

Let me remind you something; in movies, when a family is low on money, what is the parents' first concern? "I'm worried we won't be able to take care of the kids." Therefore, I urge you, wait until you can take care of yourself before you add little pattering feet to your family.

I don't know how many people will read this. I only hope that people will try to take my words to heart; and that my words are the correct ones.

I wasn't planning on reading the whole thing until I read the ending and went back. I agree with the "What is life?" and "Are we worth anything but keeping the race alive?"  along with the wait till you have yourself taken care of before bringing something else into this world.

Infact, I agree completely with This post...

If you think about abortion... then go through with it and abort the little fucker... I say "fucker" because in truth if you are so unprepared for a child in your life then thats all he will amount to be . For example if you father is alcoholic and beats your mother while she is pregnant with you, and she wants an abortion, well chances are if you ain't aborted then you will not amount to much more than your father or your abused mother. If anything you will make the situation worse.

But on the other hand, I am glad I wasn't aborted... My mom wasn't beat... but my dad was and still is an alcoholic and my mom decided to have me and leave my birth dad and get out of the slums. So it can go either way.

I think over all it is not an issue of money, but an issue of devotion to your new child.

I think babies are pretty fucking ugly but I have never seen one like that before. Until it can survive without being a parasite inside a woman's utereus it's not a baby in my book. Until then it's no one's business but her own what she does with her body.

I tend to agree that a fetus isn't a baby until independent  from the mother.

Besides, do we really need more children born into what is often an overwhelmingly negative situation? I don't think so.

This is one of the major reasons I got a vasectomy. I recommend it to everyone. The procedure wasn't bad at all, nowhere near as scary as I expected (it helps that they load you on valium first). Recovery wasn't bad, my balls ached for awhile but that just meant I got to stay home and get drunk all day while popping pills and playing on the crypt when I was coherent enough (and watching movies or posting here when I wasn't). Now I can have totally unprotected sex and not worry about accidentally contributing to the abortion statistics.

Abortion lowers the crime rate.

unwanted babies are more likely to become criminals. the abortion introduction of the 70s led to a dramatic fall in the crime rate in the 90s.
yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

i'm on the fence on the whole abortion issue, being catholic abortion is  a mortal sin and therefore i dont condone it, but being a male that cant give birth, who am i to tell a woman what she can and cant do with her body. lets just put it this way if there was a proposal to make abortion legal/illegal i would have nothing to do with either
