Yea, I tried it and if you do it with comma's and quotes and such, it adds about 1/2 page to every 1-1/2 pages.

that's just stupid. all my shit has to be submitted electronically where they do a word count (and run plagiarism detecting software). so it fails. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

That is very clever, wish I had done that on this last paper I did. I just change the spacing from 2 to 2.3 which is just enough to add a few extra paragraphs worth. get your ass to mars

my problem when i write scientific papers is that they are always too long. length is not hard to come by, you guys are just lazy and probably procrastinate and want to get it done (and long) in the shortest amount of time as possible. the hard thing about writing scientific reports is that they have to be as short as possible while getting the most across as possible. the last one i submitted was around 30 some pages and i was able to reduce it to 19. still that was probably too long, but oh well.

Yeah im actually typing 20 pages worth of research papers as we speak.  Its easy to bs if you do the research right.
