Negatory, burning crusade is an expansion, and already part of "world of warcraft" so its not that. It will either be Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. Im 95% sure its SC2 due to the fact that they are releasing the information in korea first, and in korea its the capital of the SC franchise.

my sources arn't faulty so the info is genuine. Hasn't failed me before, so no reason it should start now. as for hellgate, i never herd anything about that.

May 15, 2007 - Everyone's expecting something big from Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, South Korea, this weekend, partially because of what the Team Liquid forums have been up to. What precisely will be said is still unclear, as Blizzard has yet to disclose anything concrete. Of course there's been plenty of speculation, with StarCraft 2 leading the pack of possible titles to be announced.

Over the past few days, Blizzard's official site has been running a strange promotional story. Each day they're updating with a different title from the company's past. Starting with WarCraft: Orcs & Humans, released in 1994, the site's progress is currently up to Diablo 2 (accompanied by the classic Decakard Cain quote), released in 2000. Still on deck are WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002) and World of Warcraft (2004), followed by a glowing question mark. With one update per day, it just so happens the question mark reveal falls on the same day as the first of the WWI event, which translates to late Friday evening here in North America. Our diligent readers have been so kind as to point out the site starcraft2.com is also running the same promotional timeline.

So the question remains, what could they possibly announce? We'll be on hand to see exactly what it is, so stay tuned this Friday and over the weekend for all updates Blizzard-related. It could be StarCraft II, but it could also be another Lost Vikings game. The only way to know for sure is to wait and see what they say. Who knows, maybe it'll be a double announcement. Based on their job listings they keep posting, anything's possible.

case and point.

weren't they going to make an FPS or something? whatever happened to that?

I'm confident it won't be an MMO - all an MMO would do is cannibalize WOW income at this point.
