Yep, my cuz is running one in Fredrick MD on June 10th so if you are interested I will get the details. Up to 1,000 people could show up, and our numbers tend to grow as the march continues. Chances are no one is but if you want to go then I could meet some members and throw shit at cops! It will be a black out march. They have made shields so we can push back when the cops try to box us in. Only 3 people got arrested when we marched in philly so it's a good chance you wont either.

police-state But that is pretty much anti police... Or at least turns into it. The reason why.... Well my cuz dragged me on one a year ago as of the 10th, it was my first one and I really didn't want to go, thinking it was all for attention. Well while watching cops beat up 5 people who were just sitting in the street with out warning my idea of a cop changed... A few minutes later I watched as they did the same with but with pepper spray to my cuz. they ripped off his bandana and sprayed a good 3 second stream into his eyes. So that is when I realized cops are fuckers... And I haven't ever had a good encounter with a cop ever in my life. Also when I was 14 my D.A.R.E. officer made me do push ups.. and that hurt me on the inside :*( So yea.. anti cop as well. But for me it is more of a way to get more exposure to ideas. And as for the police state... I hate the idea of using fear to instill obedeance. And I can't spell.

lol at opposing avatars, of course mine is purely comical, but yeah that totally sucks, i remember seeing police officers attack news reporters and peacefull protesters at an immigrant rally on the news In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

I saw cops club an old lady in the face at a protest once, along with lots of other fucked up shit involving rubber bullets (fortunately none hit me) and lots of tear gas and pepper spray. Cops are mostly fuckers. My most recent interaction with a cop involved getting a speeding ticket for doing +15 in a school zone, except I was really only going about 5 over the limit. Shithead totally lied and was a major dick to me while he issued the ticket, then didn't show up to court when I challenged it but the idiot judge still didn't care because he thinks cops never lie. You know what? You guys are right. Let's get rid of the police. Because it's clear all they do is beat up old ladies... I mean... because you guys have encountered so many cops in your lifetime...... like... enough to make such sweeping generalizations... right?

Grumpy wrote:oh this site is gonna get its own file at the NSA and FBI fer sure now.. George W is gonna get us evil doers. I'm pretty sure they have a file on me, it's probably not a very big one though since I'm such an upstanding law abiding citizen. In college my roomate sent a threatening letter to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a few years later he supposedly renounced his citizenship and left the country. A friend of mine once tried to set Al Gore's wife on fire with an improvised flamethrower but was tackled by the SS and dragged out (no charges filed amazingly!). I've been to a few protests in my day and know I've been photographed and videotaped by men in suits wielding cameras. I am pretty certain I used to be on a security list of some sort because anytime I passed through airport security I would get a thorough screening, even to the point of wiping my stuff down with bomb detecting chempads. Once the post-9/11 list went into a effect it stopped completely. I've never been searched since, which is amazing because I used to be "randomly" selected every single time. EDIT: I just realized that if they don't have a file on me yet they will after reading the above. Shout out to all the spooks in the house! You guys should recruit me, my current job is boring and my evil genius is going to waste. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

all i got to say is that i'm happy we have cops. i wouldn't want to imagine the world (or city, state, whatever) without them. sure you don't like them because every time you meet them its because they are punishing you for doing something wrong. they have to deal with the ass crack of the world everyday and deal with it so people like you and me don't have to. i think if anything they should get paid a lot more then they do. they put their lives at risk everyday just to go to work. your mad because you were pulled over for speeding, well you were speeding were you not. just follow the rules and you won't get pulled over. just because everybody else does it doesn't mean you have to too.
with that said, there are a lot of abusive and corrupt cops out there. but compared to the vast majority of good ones, they just give cops a bad name. go ahead and do your anti-cop march. but just remember who watches the streets when you go to bed tonight.

The issue isn't that I was pulled over for speeding, it's that the cop lied about how fast I was going so I would get a bigger fine and it wouldn't look so weird that he pulled me over since +5 over the limit is acceptable 99% of the time, he was also a threatening jackass while writing me the ticket and did the whole hand on the gun scowling stare-down thing cops do when trying to intimidate. I expect cops to have some degree of "customer service" skill and to not break the law (e.g. by issuing false speeding tickets). I also expect them not to club old ladies in the face, or to attack peaceful protesters with pepper spray and tear gas and rubber bullets just because they get off on it. If you ever have a line of cops in full riot gear charging at you for no apparent reason maybe you will understand where I am coming from. I don't believe that the vast majority of cops are good, I think the vast majority of them signed up because they wanted the power that comes with a gun and badge. They do a lot of good because it's their job, and they do a lot of bad because they can get away with it and sometimes doing bad IS their job. I've never suggested we shouldn't have cops or that the world would be a better place without cops. Again, reductio ad absurdum. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
