I completely agree. I think the ppl that believe it is gonna suck are the ones born in the late 80's and up. No one who actually watched the origionals in their hay day would think this movie is gonna suck..... yay for being old!

heh.. while the rest of us graduated high school and became legal drinking age in the eighties..
I hyst saw the newer version of the transformers for the first time the other day.. that version with the folding tonka toys really did suck.. crappy ass 80s animation FTW Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

now i was in middle school in the 80's so i'm a bit younger but.... I rember watching the "new" episodes of she-ra (wich i now own on dvd), he-man, gi joe, voltron (wich i also own), transformers (the origional and I remember watching the first movie wich i own)

the original 3 versions were good... (on cybertron, on earth, and the introduction of the giant plant transformer) the rest sucked... i just saw a preview for cartoon networks new version, and omg, it sucks worse then the steelers I am not an alcoholic... i have all 4 seasons of the original series on DVD along with the first movie. its all about the original series. the only thing i don't agree with is that they make bumble bee a bad ass. he was a pansy in the original series and i will always remember him that way. other then that i am totally looking forward to the movie. in fact, i'm holding off purchasing transformers for my Wii until i watch the movie so i don't ruin it for myself. my friend did buy it for his PS3 and we sat there transforming for like 15 minutes giggling like little children.

I actually watched all the old ones. I am only 16 now but I saw them all. They used to be on Cartoon Network when I woke up, which was at 4:00 for some odd reason.
