Anyone have problems staying connected to the Tomb? I can connect to any server and play with no problems. When I connect to the Tomb I can play for about 3 minutes and I get disconnected, HL2 DM completely closes and I get one of those error messages to send to microsoft. It happened to me tonight, and I suspect it's happening to others. I saw at least two players try and get on and get disconnected. I just restarted Steam and it ran fine the rest of the night.

Yeah I restarted my entire computer at least 5 times and still had the same problem. Anyways, I love the X-bow!!!!!!!!!! I think quite a lot of people are also having this problem, I have tried to get some games going but most people who join get disconnected. have people tried deleting the blob files? did a new update come out and the server hasn't had it applied yet? (as I recall this is what happened last time this problem was happening) Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

Just happened again. Someone else also tried to connect and crashed. I can get on Hax server just fine. Funny thing is that the whole game crashes, but if I restart it's fine. We will never get the Tomb going if this continues. FYI, I don't run Xfire.

Are you guy doing anything particular when you get thrown out? The only mods per say are the coupld of sound files that are loaded that should not even unless you type in the commands for them. The bow which is just an updated value in the the script file and the map adverts which have been up for while now without any issues. I will turn off the map adverts for awhile to see if this goes away .. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

First time it happened, I started the game and as I passed thru the spawn door in 2fort it crashed. The second time I entered the game, changed the map to lost village, it started the game then crashed as someone else was trying to log onto the game.

Grumpy, reinstall everything. Start over. Fresh install of mani, etc. Redo the mods and server.dll hex edits. Maybe something was missed. Either way, this should solve the problem.

Well it has been 4 days now since I reinstalled the server and everyone I have talked to says there have been no more problems.. So tonight I will put the rest of it back in.. Though I think it will stay 24 hour 2 fort but at least we will regain the ability to change/vote the map if we want to.
I will also resume the 200 x bow tonight as well Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy
