The combine balls are your worst enemy but at times your best friend.  Its fun to be the shooter but not the taker...but if possible if you could maybe play a wav when a orb is launched...like "Im a noob" or some dumb shit to put em on the spot...or announce in chat who shot it. IM HIGH

i think you should give it longer than a day: right now the server is full of a bunch of idiots that can ONLY use the xbow. if you do the change atleast do it when/if you do the mag laser so all the retards arent stuck on the xbow. how about friendly fire for the combine ball. i know this will suck because you will die a lot from your own teams ball, but if you kill your own team member with it, you loose a kill. so i'm thinking that this might strey people away from whoring them to get their rank up.

I like a few ideas here, so I will post my opinions. Explosives: TKs would be great. Also Nate said something about a fire or gas lingering after the smg. That might work for the other explosives too. Xbow: I am indifferent. I have learned to work with or without them. I like the power now, but I would like to see the 1 hp thing in action. Combine balls: I like them how they are, but the whole turning them into shoes or something equally hilarious would be fine with me. Also a potential candidate for the friendly fire. Making the machine gun faster would also be fun. And of coarse I love the upped power on the pistol. The end. Wishus PS. Have you tried formatting? plzz dnt spam myu tread ' - lol jp jp

When im getting chased by combine or sometimes rebel the xbow is my only defense to get that person off of me...some people use the stun stick religiously and when they are right on top of you...what else to do.
Maybe its the days when I played Goldeneye like it was my job, but the one shot rocks. Most of the time combine stick takes one shot it seems, so its the balance. I suck em at crowbar and stick, for some reason cant hit shit.
Honestly I dont think the x bow is noobish with the one shot on, it has a really slow reload aspect to it. Its tough to hit people at times and takes a lot of practice.
If it had quick reload then it would be a little more bs.
Out of all the weapons I think the 1 shot xbow is the least noobish. I mean comeone all the automatic weapons you just pull trigger and spray...RPG you have a guide...whacky ball self explanatory...
If I am jumping around trying to tag you with an xbow and keep missing I have died plenty of times from small arms fire from smg, shotties...
Unfair advantage I dont see one. If you cant aim then dont use, just whip out your shotty and shoot all around me unskillish till im dead.
The way around being killed by an xbow is too move around more, jump, strafe or whatever...if you walk in a straight line all the time well that makes it easy..
Basically if someone misses with xbow...then their is no damage, if I miss again their is no damage, all the meanwhile I am getting pumped full of lead...most of the time with little life to spare.
There are plenty of things that can kill with one shot:
RPG
NADE
SLAM
WHACKY BALL
XBOW
WHich one takes the most skill you must ask yourself? Why pick on the xbow?

I dunno, man... I was playing a couple minutes ago with the new xbow settings... I found I could enjoy other guns... and still usually get 1shot kill... (It's at 199 for christ sakes).

Seriously.. new bow is cool.. most games where you cannot power up all the way there is no difference.. players have not seemed to notice at all.. I say keep it at 199 Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

I guess I just may be confused on damage. So with 200 damage xbow then would take 100h and 100a away is that how it works? So If I had 100health and 90armor then with the 199 damage xbow you would still die then...ahhhh.
Yea I guess its no big deal really...cause most of the time people will have less then perfect health anyhow...I really didnt understand the implications of it...

(It's at 199 for christ sakes). if you were talking about last night whut when we were playing rock, that because the damage is still 200. it hsan't been dropped yet but the other guns were modded and it was cool. talk to sirus about the x-bow still being 200.
