what about runes like from Threewave CTF (quake1 mod)? In the original there were 4 of them, when you picked one up you got special bonues like double damage or health regen. You could only have one at a time and if you died you dropped it - then if no one picked it up after a certain period of time it randomly respawned somewhere on the map. I think they could add some fun to The Tomb. something else that might be fun is if you could make he g-gun able to move people, like how you can shoot an object with it and make that object go flying - it could make for some funny battles and encourage teamwork when flag running. I don't know about the explosive friendly fire idea...I was just on the tomb and it was being abused badly. if you have a score of -50, you obviously aren't playing. its too bad that some people dick around in the spawn, but if you aren't going to play, do yourself a favor and disconnect from the server.

LOL...ohhhh the dredded AFK while on a DM level...yea if you had a -50 score then you got tore up. Nothing better then finding AFK's on a DM level and puttin a bow thru em...
Do you know what level it was?
But yea intentional TK is not tolerated, but the accidental does happen.

maybe up xbow dmg to 300 so the people with 200 suits can die I like what you guys put while I was away, but I think it was best that I changed it.

I've noticed that if I have close to full health and full suit, but not enough to keep from getting killed by the xbow, I get shot back a short distance. If I'm down to no suit energy and like 2 health points, the xbow sends my flying off the map. Is the power of the xbow's effect dependant on the health of the individual? Or am I just imagining it? And if it is, and we change it to 200, would it make a difference to change it to 500? Would you get a more pronounced blowback effect? If that's the case, that would be fun to watch. The fact that you can get the suit to 800 offsets the instakill effect of the xbow. Thus, we feel it's balanced.
