I often lose 25 points per death. I try not to pay attention to the points because they confuse me. Sometimes I die and only lose like 7 points, sometimes its 14, etc. I don't get it, but I guess I earn more than I lose. I don't think I will hold on to 1st place very long. The lower the person killing you, the more points you lose... It isn't perfect. The higher level points above you lose less to you when you kill them. Those around the same point score as you earn the least in killing you.

anyway for clients to disable the hlstat spam? I think its easier for them to concentrate on the game and not on the stats when its not flashing in their face constantly You wanna take this to Fuck Town?

you have to get 50 kills before you are officially collecting/losing points. people that dont have 50 kills yet, can only collect/lose 2 points per kill/death. once they get that 50th kill, they can take the official amount of points from you (25 or whatever it is). What about the people who don't care about stats? where's their "way to go!" thread? cuz... stats are evil... remember? all they do is tell you who plays more, not who's better. stats are the biggest scam ever. Stats never provided anyone with a quick an easy way to reference player quality and skill before... why would it happen now? YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! Taking pride in what you do... using universal measurements to determine your skill.... pretty soon you will all be voting non-democrat!

To vote in the Republican primaries, you have to be registered Republican. More importantly, you have to be registered to vote, and you can't be drunk when you vote. Seriously. gnar if u dont care about stats then dont worry about it and turn it off.. for those of us that like competition we love stats. Its a fun and friendly way to play the game. U are right that alot of times stats just tell you who has played the most.
