Since he can't figure out how to make a thread properly I'm helping him. Gunslinger has stated that he would like to see Hydro and Castle removed... I'm not sure if he means remove Hydro from #1 and #3 or just one of them. Discuss.

Interesting thread, Gunslinger. Allow me to respond I enjoy Castle. I can see, however, why others might find it a little boring. Hey, let's see what others think!

for me hydro is very drawn out and 90% of the time ends with a sudden death round which 10% of the time ends with a winner, rinse and repeat a minimum of another 2 times, and it gets very boring very quickly, In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. Castle is okay but almost every time I've played it was stacked team vs. weak team with very little progression. Hydro is a lot better. Gravelpit, IMO, is just a gigantic camping stackfest.

I haven't found a map that I don't enjoy in terms of the officials.... Though gravelpit really clusterfucks at the third cp.

as much as i love gravel pit, c point can be near impossible to cap In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

That's true, and hydro can get really drawn out.
Also, that last segment on dustbowl is completely slanted in favor of the defense...
You know what we need? A whole server with the only perfectly balanced and designed map out there... 2fort!
Oh wait...
#1 is supposed to be the Official Maps server, and personally I don't think ANY of them should be excluded. For every complaint one person has about a map (or several), there are many more than enjoy it just fine. Let them fight about the rotation on #3. HolyJaw wrote:In the end, everything Endyss said.

Hydro IMO is one of the best maps. It is the only one I know of setup like how it is in terms of capture points. Hydro should be on rotation. Castle is pretty cool as well but havent played it too much. If one had to go I would vote Castle.
Most will be drawn out because werent they designed for like 24 people or something.
If you want to keep them from being drawn out that I think is the purpose for the extended respawn time. If its instant respawn for both sides then it will be a draw most of the time.
Up the respawn time?
--- I cant remember if there is instant respawn on the tempest servers.

There are 5 second respawns unless the map in question overrides the server settings. There is no need to remove maps. I'm simply having a discussion in an attempt to better server the community. If all maps are great then we are dandy good... If there are maps causing issues, I'd like to discuss the problem. Don't feel like maps NEED to be removed.

is it for dustbowl to be edited to where for every map captured, said team gets a point In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

well you know how dustbowl has 3 maps, and once the 3rd map is captured the team on offense scores a point, what im asking is that could dustbowl be made to where the team on offense scores a point for each captured map In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.
