It's effin pouring here in san diego! all autumn long all the reports have been about how little rain we've had and how bad this year is going to be compared to last year and all these forcasts are predicting even more droughts and yadda yadda yadda. but it has rained heavily twice here now and it seems like one of the wettest rainy seasons for a while. we usually don't see rain until january, it actually reminds me of the 1997 el nino. which they say cycles about every 10 years.... that means good surf!

Ireland just went through the wettest summer ever on record. 41 one days in succession that it rained at some point. and now we've had one of the dryest autumns. weeks there and there was nothing. it's returned back to normal there a few days ago.

Global warming eh? and people think it'll mean the weather gets warmer... we'll be a snow country in a  few decades.
yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

Yeah, we're actually on the recession of an ice age.  Technically, the trend as its been in the past tells us that it will get colder, if anything.

Colder, hell, I'd love to see that happen, I live up in the High Desert in So Cali and all we typically see out here is heat, wind, and once in a blue moon, some rain or even snow in the winter months.  I can remember it getting up to 132F up here one summer and down to -4F that same year so I welcome the cold weather and the rain, what little of it we get.  All in all, California really needs the rain, we just went through one of the worst fire seasons on record and are in desperate need of more rain in the area so if you guys would quit hogging all of it and send some my way I'd me most appreciative.  LoL

I think we are at least a few thousand years from it getting colder, and the ice age pattern isn't exactly stable so with the weird shit we are doing to the climate who knows what will happen.  We could wind up like Venus.

Where I live we haven't had rain for most of the year. We drastically need rain, they say it is the worst drought in like 20 years.

Not technically an ice age, but relevant nonetheless.

Here in Texas it's hot and hotter, with a slightly cooler period in november/december and in Houston we get occasional rain which makes the mosquitoes particularly rabid...if that makes any sense whatsoever
