Ever wonderd why "The Tempest" servers are not as popular as they used to be?
I think the problem is the fact that None of the "Tempest" servers show up in the master server list.
Here is a screenshot of the Master Server list. Alphabetically "The Tempest" should show up between these two servers...

Yes, I have this problem as well very often. Much of the time they don't show up for some reason. I also have an issue where they don't reply in my favorites list and then once they time out I can open up their IP address and click refresh and see everyone on there. I don't know if its related to the bigger problem with the full server list or whether it's a client issue, a server issue, or an issue with steam's server tracking shit, but whatever it is I am certain that it has a significant impact on how easy or difficult it is to fill the servers. This is indeed a problem. I cannot even find the Tempest 3 server and the only reason I can access 1 or 2 is because they are in my favorites. I'm the leetest one here

This explains things. I just started TF2 for the first time and couldn't find the servers. I logged on here to get the IPs. Hopefully that will work. EDIT: They all show 0/30.

Typically 2 of the 4 are full at any given time.

But, the public, which makes up 90 percent of the server population does not know these by heart. Another thing is the mobility rate of gamers. Some buy new games, some get their MOBO's sapped and some just quit. You constantly need new blood to keep the servers going.
No public listing=death to servers.

Im sure its something to do with steam.... what isn't these days that causes problems? Hopefully it irons itself out and it magically gets fixed. Could be our last 32man script is fucking with the steam listings. Untill we get WDF in here I don't think there really is much we can do atm. you don't always get all the servers from the master server! sometimes you must refresh the list a few times! You wanna take this to Fuck Town?
