Yep.  Was the day of my first solo, although this video is of my second landing.  The first was being graded by the camera man/my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).  So I am now at the mid point of my training.  20 hours of stick time so far....20 hours to go.  I am actually ahead of the curve even though I been training since August of last year.  I only get out once every other week or so.....

thats fucking sweet rat, it must be so much fun to do that

Formally known as MrT
The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

You know what they call a flying rat, don't you? A bat. Might have to change your handle now.

Looked like a nice, smooth landing, btw. So grats on that!

You should be more like Cantrip.

Done that many times already.  I am great at crabbing into a landing.  I think the worst I've tackled is 14kts cross, which is almost at the limit of the craft's design.  BUT....the flight school limits me to 8kts during training.

Yep.  Shirt I was wearing is now decorating the hallway of my house.

About....but I was telling Whut last night I was doing -10kph yesterday.  Yes....I was flying backwards.  Plane will fly to 30kph....and at one point I had a 44kt wind.  Unnerving to see the streets below pulling forward instead of slipping back.
