just wanted to let you all know that i am going to attend it if they accept me (which he already hinted that he would)

Start with C because many languages has this kind of structure and you have to learn to manage memory by yourself (malloc, pointers,free). If you wanna learn java i suggest you to read about oriented object before you get into code. I used to create a small game with torque engien and scripts were in c++.
